Happy 'Walk to School' Month!
Spark Health are super excited to be working with VicHealth this year through a pilot project to incorporate and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture in Walk to School Month 2019.
Walk to School is an initiative that runs every October in Victoria and encourages primary school kids to walk, ride or scoot to school for 30 whole days! Walk to School is a fantastic way to get active, build healthy habits and connect not just with your family and friends, but connect to Country too. You can read more about Walk to School month here.
At Spark Health we believe that connecting to Country and acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land are super important when walking to school. We also love colouring, so we have created these badges for you to make, colour and wear proudly during Walk to School month and beyond to celebrate that we walk on Aboriginal Land.
You can download your very own badge template here for you to print, colour and wear to your hearts content!
Ps. The badges print automatically to 85mm bleed diameter, yay!
If you lack appropriate badge-making resources at your school, contact us by emailing hello@sparkhealth.com.au and we may be able to help!
