Wellah Women is coming to the Northern Suburbs!

Calling out to all our Deadly Sistas and Aunties of the North - This one's for you!
Wellah Women North

Here at Spark, we love getting 'Wellah' with the mob! We are so excited to have launched Wellah Women, an Aboriginal Women's Health and Happiness Project, for the very first time in Bundoora in September 2019!

We think there is something special about feeling safe and empowered in health and happiness and standing alongside your Sistergirls with no shame!

We are coming together for 8 weeks in a safe space to get healthier and happier! Our Wellah Women are in for amazing guest speakers, opportunities to get their hands on some Clothing the Gap merch, awesome workouts and most importantly, the chance to hangout and empower fellow sistergirls!

Ngarimilli Melton Aboriginal Women Spark Health

In October 2018 we launched our first Aboriginal Women's health & well-being project in Melton!

We came together for 8 weeks in a safe space to get healthier and happier! We heard from so many amazing speakers and finished up every session with a fun workout!

What our Deadly Melton Sistas had to say about Ngarrimili!

"Since I've been attending, I've made a lot of changes in my life and I have more strength thanks to all my beautiful sisters love and supports"

"The program is really motivating me and I look forward to Monday! It’s giving me information, stories, ideas to work on myself and set goals"

"Love the fact we are surrounded by amazing, strong, resilient women who can all support each other"

Ngarrimili Graduation

'Ngarrimili' is a Wadawurrung word meaning 'to dance'! And dance we did at our Ngarrimilli graduation in week 8. We partied with our Melton Sistas and celebrated how amazing these women had been throughout the program each and every single week!

We were honoured to have The Merindas bring the sassy powerful energy to really hit our graduation off!
